Recruitment and retention of health care professionals was a top priority for Interior Health, one of 5 health authorities in British Columbia. They needed to encourage nurses and allied health professionals to consider a career with Interior Health.
Our research focused on the key motivators of the Gen X/Y workforce. We created an expression of the benefits of work/life balance, career development, financial and emotional security, and we tested our plan on noted Canadian demographer David Foote (Boom, Bust, Echo).
Communication Research Brand Development Audio Visual Production
The result was the recruitment campaign brand "Interior Health: Works for you!" Using existing photos and video footage, we created a series of 'specialty-specific' videos to support recruitment of OR and ER Nurses, Pharmacists, Physio and Recreational Therapists. Presented by Interior Health to students, and at career-fairs across Canada, the "Works for You" videos continue to be presented on Interior Health's employee recruitment website > Play Video Now
