Kamloops Airport was undergoing an $18 million upgrade which included a new contemporary architectural redesign and the addition of state-of-the-art technology to improve flight reliability and allowe the introduction of international flight service. A new brand identity was needed to position Kamloops Airport as a trusted and modern facility that offered an exceptional travel experience.
The $18 million investment created a showcase facility providing exceptional service to customers and businesses alike. The entire travel experience became "above and beyond" expectations. Using the airport call letters "YKA" as the foundation of the new brand identity, we added the tagline to reinforce this market position and to help build community pride in the new facility.

The new YKA brand is consistent with the direction of the City, tourism and economic development in the region. The new brand positions Kamloops as a regional leader in air travel and supports future growth in the region.
