IT'S BETTER HERE - As Agency of Record for physician recruitment marketing, we're integrating Interior Health's advertising, web and community outreach strategies to address physician manpower challenges and show physicians across Canada “it’s better here”.

GET 'ACTIVE' ON LUNG HEALTH – Did you know asthma affects more than half a million Canadian children and accounts for more hospitalizations than any other chronic illness? We are pleased to be partnered with Canada's Clean Air Champions to promote asthma awareness among youth and recreation leaders across Canada.

TWEETING TO PROTECT HEALTH – At the 2010 BC Lung Association Air Quality & Health Workshop, we presented a case study on the use of Twitter during the 2009 fire season to help people in BC manage their health. Interior Health’s Medical Director Paul Hasselback credits our agency’s “innovative and creative use of social media during this environmental crisis as having a significant health protective value”. SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH SPORT - We've helped the City of Kamloops demonstrate how sustainability (social, cultural and economic) can be supported through sport. A sustainability promise is now an integral part of their bid to host the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

SUSTAINABILITY EXPERTISE - WE'RE CHANGING BUSINESS FOR GOOD - We are pleased to announce that Kate Stebbings, Senior Consultant at Communication Solutions, recently completed the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business offered through the Bainbridge Graduate Institute in Seattle, WA. Her year long training allows us to offer deeper expertise in Sustainability plan development and marketing for all our clients. CANADA’S GDP AT ALL TIME HIGH - We're waving our maple leaf mitts for Canada’s new ‘Gross Domestic Pride’. What an unbelievable ending to our Olympics! It’s been a great journey for us at Communication Solutions. From being selected in 2005 as qualified suppliers to Vancouver 2010, to helping Team Canada’s Jerome Iginla share his vision of hockey in Kamloops, to watching our very own “Place in the Sun” wrap-up the Kamloops Torch Relay celebration – it’s been quite the ride!

DOING MORE WITH LESS
Strong companies transform economic downturns into organizational upturns - by renewing their focus on bottom-line results and by reinvesting in building and strengthening key relationships, with customers, clients, suppliers and employees.
