Strategic Thinking: Recruitment and retention is top priority for Interior Health -- and the recruitment arena is very competitive. IH's goal -- attract Canadian specialty nurses-in-training to a career with Interior Health. Applying demographic and branding research to this audience -- Gen X / Y's, and testing our insights on noted Canadian demographer David Foote (author of Boom, Bust Echo), Communication Solutions developed a strategy that not only integrated Interior Health's "Room to Grow" human resource branding, but also profiled a point of difference between IH and other health authorities that would most appeal to a generation of future nurses. Creative Solutions: Convinced this recruitment program required "branding" that would speak to key Gen X/Y motivators of work/life balance, career development choice and financial and emotional security, Communication Solutions developed the campaign brand "Interior Health: Works for you!".
Tangible Results: With limited resources, Communication Solutions developed this video without having to capture any video footage -- by accessing still and video stock from around the region. The video was delivered on budget with our recommendations to use it on-line and with supporting print materials for distribution at job fairs, university visits and targeted direct mailing.
