No longer considered simply as a mandatory reporting tool, Annual Reports are now evaluated on how they increase awareness and understanding and strengthen relationships. In the case of non-profit organizations, this often means how effective they are in prompting new donations.
We based our review of Royal Inland Hospital Foundation's Annual Report this way and suggested a stronger link between past donations and positive outcomes. We developed the branding of “Making a Difference” and a theme for the report tto profile “Images of Generosity”.
Since 2002, Communication Solutions has been creating the content which pairs the power of a picture with personal experiences about the benefits of donor generosity, increasing donor contributions annually, and perhaps equally important, creating a partnership with the Foundation which allows their Annual Report to get out the door each year without any "Annual Report strain" on their staff and resources.
